Man Prepared To Eat Both Wings AND Nachos Tonight

ST. LOUIS - Bridgeton resident Tom Starnes is preparing to eat both chicken wings and nachos tonight while watching the kickoff to the 2021 NFL season tonight, he tells End of the Bench.

Starnes, who has been a bar food connoisseur since his days at the University of Missouri-Columbia, has been strategizing since early this summer on how he plans to manage such a colossal task.

“I have been working out all summer - eating clean, drinking lots of water,” Starnes said. “I built my body for this because what else do I have to look forward to?”

The move in question comes on the eve of the National Football League’s annual kick-off, featuring the Dallas Cowboys and defending Super Bowl Champion Tamba Bay Buccaneers.

While not a fan of either team, Starnes is still excited for the evening ahead.

“I haven’t eaten since dinner last night and I even skipped breakfast this morning,” Starnes said. “I know it was a risky move considering I will probably be hungry around noon, but sometimes you have to make bold moves to get what you want in life.”

Fans can tune in to the start of the NFL season only on NBC at 7 p.m. CDT.
